DPF Removal is fast becoming the "must have" solution to DPF filter problems. Sometimes known as Fap filters or Diesel Particulate filters, but most commonly as DPF filters, they are fast becoming a huge problem to the modern motorist. Most turbo diesel vehicles post 2006 have these DPF filters fitted and they become blocked over a period of time. Whilst DPF filters have a regeneration process built into the vehicles software to maintain them, this eventually fails to keep them clear and once the DPF filter becomes blocked the engine management system puts dashboard warning lights on and many systems put the vehicle into a reduced power mode, known as "limp mode" to protect the engine from damage. Many owners however, with a blocked DPF filter continue to drive their vehicle. This can lead to turbo and even engine failure. DPF removal is the only practical solution to this problem and each month we are removing more and more DPF filters from our clienteles' vehicles.

With genuine replacement DPF filters costing in excess of £3500 plus vat and fitting, its not hard to see why DPF filter removal is the only sensible solution to DPF problems.

What We Do

We approach DPF filter removal in the same way as all other aspect of our business, with quality and professionalism.

We remove the DPF filter unit from the vehicle, remove the DPF filter itself, known as the "DPF brick", taking great care not to damage the vehicles catalytic converter. Once the DPF filter has been removed we re-fit the old unit. Why? Because it looks completely standard and always fits perfectly.

Now that the DPF filter has been removed we then disable the electronic function that controls this process within the ECU. Once this is completed the DPF filter removal process is completed with an extensive test drive.

The DPF Filter removal process is now complete. No more DPF filter lights will appear, performance with be substantially improved, and fuel economy will also benefit from this.
